Download the Summer 2008 album, "Mountainsong"!
Written and recorded during a week vacation in the Appalachian Mountains, this song collection explores the journey out of the city and away from the constant flow of information, into a serene and beautiful place where we're free to listen to our own minds.  It was recorded with a Fostex 8-track unit, and has been minimally tampered with -- no eff'ing compression!  If you see Claire, ask her for a copy and she'll give you one for free!  (All copies of the handmade arts'n'crafts edition are gone, though...)

Recorded in late 2004 and early 2005, this debut song collection features extremely lo-fi, lo-talent instrumentation..  Writer's block and being stuck in a rut with the guitar had Claire feeling completely non-creative, until she dragged a 15 year old keyboard out of the closet and began to experiment.  The power adapter didn't work and batteries had to be used, the earphone jack was busted making it necessary to mic the speakers, and the speakers were so crackly and weak that guitar feedback was used to mask how bad it all sounded.  Later songs in this collection were recorded with a less abysmal instrument, but still retain the desperation and urgency of the earlier tracks.  The collection concludes with an adjective festival celebrating little moments of purity and respite.
